Quick whole grain bread with MEVGAL Yogurt

Fantastic taste and a crispy crust! A bread you can make and bake in record time, since it contains no yeast and can be baked immediately, right after kneading. Do you need any more persuading? 


  • 2 cups strong bread flour
  • 1 cup whole grain flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp strained MEVGAL yogurt
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • Instructions

  • For the whole grain bread: Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead to a smooth, soft dough.
  • Turn the dough out onto a work surface and knead for 5’ until pliable. Form into a round. Gently press down the top to level out and transfer to an oiled baking sheet.
  • Dust with a little flour and bake the loaf on the bottom shelf of a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius, conventional setting, until lightly risen and nicely browned.
