  • 400 g MEVGAL feta
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 2 cups sesame seeds
  • ½ cup black sesame seeds
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Thyme honey to serve
  • Instructions

  • Mix the two kinds of sesame seeds together in a bowl.
  • Cut the feta into pieces. Dust with the flour to absorb the moisture from the cheese.
  • Beat the eggs in a bowl. Dip the pieces of cheese one by one into the egg then roll in the sesame seeds to coat.
  • Line up the slices on greaseproof paper and put briefly in the freezer.
  • Fry in olive oil over medium to high heat for a few minutes until the crust is golden. 6.Drain on kitchen paper. Drizzle with thyme honey to serve.
