Delicious Saganaki with MEVGAL Feta Cheese in the oven

Make this easy saganaki with feta cheese at home and enjoy the unique experience you get when you have it at the Greek taverns


  • 500g MEVGAL feta cheese
  • 5 ripe tomatoes, cut into round slices
  • 1 green pepper, cut into rings
  • 1 onion, cut into rings
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes or cayenne pepper
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • Instructions

  • Brush a baking dish with olive oil and lay down tomato slices.
  • On top place the pepper and the onion rings.
  • Sprinkle with the chili flakes and basil.
  • On top of this, place the MEVGAL feta cheese, cut into rectangular pieces.
  • Drizzle with the rest of the oil. Cover with tinfoil and bake for 20 minutes.
