Chicken in lemon marinade and MEVGAL Feta Cheese

If you want to stand out of the crowd with your cooking skills and impress your friends and family, then you should definitely make this dish. Everyone will love it!


  • 600g lemons in slices
  • 300g olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unrefined salt
  • 2 chicken filets
  • 8 slices of marinated lemon
  • Some olive oil
  • 1 dry onion sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • Instructions

  • Put the lemons in a plastic container. Sprinkle the unrefined salt. Cover and leave it for 12 hours.
  • Steam cook the lemon slices for 5 minutes and then place the lemons in a glass bowl.
  • Cover with olive oil and stir the contents of the bowl and let marinade for 3 weeks. You may then keep this mix refrigerated for up to 2 months and it is a very aromatic mix ,ideal for marinating chicken and fish. You may also cut it into cubes and use in salads.
  • Use a frying pan and the olive oil to saute the chicken. When brown, add the onion and immediately afterwards the lemon and MEVGAL feta, diced. Cook for 5 minutes.
