Tzatziki Yogurt Dip

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic, chopped or pounded in a mortar
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill
  • Salt
  • Instructions

  • Peel the cucumber and rub it on a towel. Use the towel to remove as much liquid as you can from the grated cucumber.
  • Put all the ingredients in a bowl, the yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped dill, vinegar, oil, garlic and salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving so that all the flavors can come out.
  • Store in an airtight container and consume within 4 days.
